Have you seen a “catastrophic error message” while working with My Health Record / My eHealth Record? Don’t panic.
If a user experiences the following error when opening, sending or uploading a My Health Record, please either:
- Call the Communicare Help Desk for assistance OR
- Proceed to the Communicare website (requires a login) to download and apply the fix http://communicaresystems.com.au/support/known-issues/
This issue has been caused by a third party component that Communicare uses for connectivity between your local computer and the health record website, causing Communicare to generate this failure message.
Please note: As of 13 April 2016 an updated file was provided by NEHTA to resolve this issue. If you have already applied this fix (prior to 13 April 2016) and/or the error remains, you may have an older version that did not fully resolve the issue. Please apply the latest fix at your earliest convenience.
