Anthony was born and raised in Darwin and has been here most his life, with connections to the Larrakia (Darwin) and Anmatyerre (Ti Tree) people in the Northern Territory.

He is a father of 3 beautiful children which is his proudest achievement. He has just enrolled into a Diploma of Public Health at CDU, after doing 2 year of studying full time a Bachelor of Social Work at Deakin University in Geelong. When he has the time, his hobbies include listening to music, fishing, camping and playing footy when he’s not injured.

For the past 3 years, Anthony has worked at Headspace Darwin as the Aboriginal Youth and Community Engagement worker, running mental health literacy sessions and running programs for vulnerable youth. His role at AMSANT is in the SEWB team as the Social and Emotional Wellbeing Project Officer. It’s an exciting new role, which he is glad to be a part of to share his ideas on how to shape the program going forward. Anthony is a strong believer in empowering Aboriginal led organization’s in making key decisions when it comes to Aboriginal health.
