Clinical Information System
Tesltra Health have undergone many changes in the past 18 months and they are working hard to improve their Communicare product.
The Communicare client portal is a useful resource available here https://portal.healthconnex.com.au/
For Communicare support NT ACCHSs have the following options:-
- The help menu in Communicare is written in plain language and is easy to read. It can be accessed either from the main toolbar or from the help icon (a question mark) anywhere in Communicare – this will take you to the relevant part in the Help menu.
- The Communicare helpdesk staff can be contacted on 1800 798 441 or email: support@communicare.telstrahealth.com for training, support and troubleshooting. Before contacting the Communicare helpdesk please check the policy at your health service which may have an in-house helpdesk as first point of contact.
AMSANT has 2 staff members who are able to support NT ACCHSs with best practice usage of their Clinical Information System – Clinton Franklin (Alice Springs – contact on 8959 4600) or Margie Cotter (Darwin – contact 8944 6666) for Communicare training and support via telephone, videoconferencing and on-site visits.
Communicare Resources
The Communicare website contains resources that are useful to both new and experienced users of Communicare. These include a range of easy to read How-to Guides that contain screenshots and are only a few pages each. Find these under the “Training” menu in the portal. You will need to register for an account first if you don’t already have your own login details.
