Services and support
Health systems and public health
“Aboriginal health in Aboriginal hands”
AMSANT’s health systems team supports our member services and other Aboriginal community controlled health services (ACCHSs) across the Northern Territory through a range of priority programs that strengthen the health and wellbeing of our communities.
Our health systems team works closely with the AMSANT public health team, and in partnership with the health services, clinicians, registrars, health experts, government and other stakeholders. Together, we strengthen data, digital tools and clinical pathways so Aboriginal people in the Northern Territory can access culturally safe primary health care close to home.
Our clinical advice and learnings are shared widely with AMSANT partners and health agencies, using transparent continuous quality improvement (CQI) and performance measures to drive a collaborative, whole-of-sector approach to better care.
