Work with us

At AMSANT, you’ll work alongside Aboriginal community controlled health services (ACCHSs) and First Nations communities right across the Northern Territory—from desert communities to Top End coastlines—to make a real change.

Our roles are diverse: policy, research and advocacy, workforce and leadership support, health systems, social and emotional wellbeing, public health, corporate services and more. Whatever your skill set, you’ll be part of a team backing Aboriginal community-controlled health on the ground.

What working at AMSANT looks like

No two weeks look the same. Staff might be:

● Sitting down with clinic teams in a remote community to talk about ACCHS needs.

● Developing programs and seeking funding for delivery by ACCHSs.

● Supporting member services to grow their Aboriginal workforce and leadership.

● Contributing to policy reforms that impact health outcomes across the Northern Territory.

● Helping design tools, training or campaigns that make a real difference in the community.

You’ll work closely with First Nations colleagues, leaders and communities, listening and learning as you go, and contributing your skills to something bigger than any one role.
